Sensor Practice & Daily/Weekly Checks
Probe placement, reading the daily VWC curve, and the standing daily and weekly room-check procedures.

A sensor you place wrong lies to you all day
Steering is only as good as the number the probe reports, and the number is only as good as where the probe sits. In-substrate sensors go in representative slabs or pots — not the healthiest, not the runt, but a plant that reflects the zone. Insert the probe fully into the media (never into a void or air pocket), use the manufacturer's alignment tool, and log VWC, EC and substrate temp continuously to the cloud so you have a curve, not a snapshot.
