Stretch is over and the flowers are set — now you size them up. Weeks 4–6 are the bulking phase, where you swing to a vegetative lean to drive dry-matter accumulation: raise root-zone moisture, increase irrigation frequency, and run more runoff to keep EC in check while the plant drinks and eats at its peak.
