Transplant on roots, not on a date
The progression is plug → 1.5-4" block → slab or pot. The rule for every move is the same: trigger the transplant on visible white roots, not on a calendar day. Roots showing at the plug base means the plant is ready to colonize more media; move it too early and it sits in an oversized wet volume, too late and it gets root-bound and checks.
