Diagnose the pattern, not the single leaf
Veg problems announce themselves in a pattern — where on the plant, on old growth or new, uniform or interveinal — and the pattern points to the cause faster than any single symptom. Most veg 'deficiencies' are not a shortage in the tank at all; they are pH lockout or a transpiration failure (low VPD stalling the mass-flow of Ca and B). Fix the root-zone chemistry and climate before you reach for a bottle.
